PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) – On Friday, June 10, fans named Tom and/or Brady will be admitted to the PawSox game at McCoy Stadium for free with valid identification.
The first 3,000 fans will receive commemorative placards that can be displayed during a photo opportunity between innings.
Normally priced $13 box seats will be priced at $12 to match Brady’s uniform number and for each ticket, a quarter will be donated to the Best Buddies Foundation.
“Free Brady Friday” is the last of a Patriots-filled week at the ballpark.
The week begins with autograph signings along with defensive linemen Jabaal Sheard and Joe Vellano delivering the first pitches on Monday. June 6. Linebacker Rufus Johnson and defensive back Brandon King will be doing the same on Tuesday night. Instead of baseballs, the ceremonial first pitches will be completed with footballs.
“This evening allows PawSox fans, so many of whom are Patriots fans, to show their support for him [Tom Brady],” PawSox Senior Vice-President and General Manager Dan Rea said.
